Hi! I am a web programming student studying remotely while traveling around the world. Right now I am exploring different parts of Asia, where I combine my studies with my passion for discovering new places. Here on the blog I share my travels, experiences and tips from places I have visited.
I am 22 years old and have always loved traveling and photography. On my adventures I try to capture everything from landscapes and city life to showing a picture of how locals live. When I am not coding, you will often find me underwater scuba diving, on a surfboard, out on long hikes or in the jungle with my camera ready, hoping to photograph wild animals.
I have had the privilege of traveling through large parts of both Europe and Asia, but backpacking in Asia is what has truly shaped my experiences. I went on my first backpacking trip in 2022, right after graduating, and immediately got hooked. Since then, I have gone on a new trip every year and have visited 13 Asian countries. My trips are usually between 5-8 months long, and after each trip I return home to Sweden to work and save money for the next adventure. My travel style is very much about truly understanding how locals live - eating local food, using local transport and getting as close to everyday life as possible. For me, that is an important part of traveling and something that makes every destination unique.
The countries I have visited in Asia are Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Kuwait. I have traveled slowly through many of them and chosen to stay longer in each place to really experience the culture, the people and life beyond the tourist areas.

I am currently studying my first semester of computer science at university.
Right now I am in Chiang Mai in Thailand and will be here for 2 weeks. My plan after that is to continue to Bangkok, and in mid-December I will go to Vietnam to meet my family, who are visiting during Christmas and New Year.
